With membership, you can bowl essentially every day of the season.

2026 drop-in introductory lessons: May 19, 20, 21, 25, and 27 at 6:30 PM

$25 (+GST) for your first lesson (applied toward membership if you join!)

Attend as many lessons as you like with a paid membership

​A drop-in league with no weekly commitment and extra coaching in June for new bowlers.

Monday nights at 6:45 PM starting June 1

Recommended to arrive by 6:30 PM to get set up before play begins

​There are many events and leagues going on at Calgary Lawn all the time!

Regular leagues kick off June 1

Saturday jitneys (social competitions) are $2 to enter which creates the prize pool

Drop-ins, special events, and tournaments are scheduled throughout the summer

And when the greens are free, members can stop by for open practice

What to Bring
Getting started is simple because you don’t need any equipment! Just bring:

Shoes: Soft, flat-soled with minimal tread (or go barefoot).

Comfort: Weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and a hat recommended.

Waiver: Must be signed before your first play! (see links below).
The club provides bowls and all other equipment.

Membership Options
For adult registrations only (click here for Youth Bowling sign up).
Season typically runs May 20 through late September, weather permitting.
Zero Barriers to Participation
We believe everyone should have access to lawn bowling. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to president@calgarylawnbowlingclub.ca about our fee waiver policy.
Volunteering
The club doesn’t run without volunteers! All members are encouraged to help; volunteer activities range from lending a hand on game days or supporting events to joining a committee that helps organize and maintain the club. Volunteering is one of the best ways to meet people and feel part of the community.
