Inclusive, fun, and welcoming to all. Games are kept short and light (two sets of 5 ends), making this a playful and supportive league.

Perfect for beginners or a casual night out, attend for as many weeks as you like. Teams are randomly drawn each week, and formats change to spice things up. The focus is on creating a social and enjoyable atmosphere and to have a great time on the greens!

A unique league where it’s every player for themselves. Each week you’ll face two opponents in individual play. Scorecards that indicate your opponents and the assigned green for the game are distributed at the clubhouse.

Players will be ranked at the organizers discretion for the first 3 games, then will play in pools and move after 3 weeks based on results.  Games will be played to 21 shots or 2 ¼ hours.

Players of all skill levels are welcomed, just get your name in by 12:30 PM! Teams are drawn on the spot. Two games of 10 ends are played with a snack break in the middle. $2 per player is collected each week and goes toward prizes and kitchen costs.

Create your own pairs team and compete other pairs teams from other clubs in Calgary. This league runs from June to August with 7 weeks of round robin and 1 week of playoffs. Games may rotate between Calgary Lawn Bowling Club and Stanley Park Lawn Bowling Club.

You’ll play with and against a variety of players; later, teams are grouped into skill level pools for head-to-head matches. Leads start with 2 bowls, then skips with 4, then leads with 2. In the next end, roles reverse. This pattern continues until 12 ends have been played.
