Calgary Lawn Bowling Club's
Youth Bowling Program for 8 to 17 Year Olds
Our youth lawn bowling program introduces kids and teens to the game of bowls (think curling, bowling, and bocce all in one!). It’s a fun way to learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy time outdoors. We welcome both recreational players who just want to have fun and those aiming for a competitive path. Some may even go on to represent our club, province, or Canada on the national and international stage!

Don't forget, every player needs a waiver!
2026 Season
June 3 - July 12

Sundays: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Wednesdays: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Youth bowlers are encouraged to attend both sessions for maximum coaching and game time.
2026 Open House:
May 31st from 10:30am - 12:00pm
What to Bring
All lawn bowling equipment is provided by the club. Players need:

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing

Hat and sunscreen

Soft, flat-soled shoes (running shoes with light tread work best)

Water bottle
Safety

Supervision

Bowlers under 12 must have a guardian onsite during each session

Guardians of bowlers 12+ may leave at the coaches’ discretion
